The London (Metropolitan) Police officer, known as the “Beauty Queen”, was fired from the company on Tuesday (1), after the authorities found drugs, money, and a marijuana plantation at her home in London.
Rasvinder Agalliu, 47, has been with the company for nearly two decades. She was arrested for conspiracy to supply drugs and has been under investigation since 2020 when police conducted searches and seizures at two of her properties.
However, according to the Daily Mail, Rasvinder has not been charged with drug offenses, but with violating the Met’s standards of professional conduct. The Misconduct Committee also found that the woman violated police standards regarding honesty and integrity, behavior that undermines credibility, duties, and responsibilities, and orders and instructions.
Mother of three children, she has also worked as a gym instructor. She dreams of becoming an actress and regularly participates in beauty pageants. Through social media, she shares her athletic lifestyle.
Chief Superintendent Owen Richards of the Midwest Commando unit, where Rasswinder was stationed, said Rasswinder’s actions “were a flagrant violation of the trust placed in her by the people of London.”
He added that such behavior would not be tolerated within the company. “We are determined to remove any police officers who do not meet our standards and ensure that they are never allowed to work in law enforcement again,” he said.
In this regard, he reported that the former police officer could no longer be considered by the police, local law enforcement, the Independent Office for Police Conduct, or Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Police, Fire and Rescue Services (HMICFRS).
In a report, the inspectorate said it was “very easy” for people convicted of criminal offenses or linked to organized crime to join the police and recommended stricter verification measures.
