At least 43 people died in Friday’s suicide bombing in Kabul, according to the latest count.

A suicide bomber attacked a university in Kabul, killing at least 43 people, according to the latest death toll announced today by the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan.

“Forty-three dead. 83 injured. The victims are mainly young women and girls,” the mission said via Twitter, explaining that it expects the number of casualties to continue rising.
