According to the company, average increases of 12% are expected for low-income workers, with the starting salary increased by up to 54% in relation to the statutory and flexible benefits package, with new collective agreements operating at OTE and COSMOTE.
The OTE Group provides exceptional financial assistance to its employees, in the total amount of 6.2 million euros. “Through this support, the Group is effectively supporting its employees in the current situation of economic, energy, and geopolitical turmoil, which has affected consumers’ disposable income,” notes a related announcement.
It is also underlined: “With a view to continuing to support low-income workers, the value of the aid is fixed, depending on salary, up to a maximum of 1,000 euros. Special categories of workers (adult children with minor children, persons with disabilities, or children with disabilities) will be paid Maximum Aid, no matter how much they receive Exceptional Aid has been determined in collaboration with the management team and employee representatives.

Additional benefits are brought by new collective bargaining agreements operating for a period of three years at OTE and COSMOTE companies, starting from their implementation, all employees will see an improvement in their income, the group reported.
The new ESSE is a major step forward as it lays the groundwork for a modern wage and benefits framework that is beneficial to all OTE and COSMOTE employees. In particular, with the new contracts:
- A modern, standardized compensation structure is provided for each employee’s role. The starting salary for the new salary categories exceeds up to 54% of the current statutory salary.
- Salaries for low-income workers increase by an average of 12%, in line with the company’s strategy to increase the income of young people.
- All employees receive a flexible Be-Flexi benefits package of €850 per year. The employee chooses himself from the list of benefits offered by the company according to his needs.
- For the first time, it was introduced into the OTE Group Pension Plan for all employees.
- At the same time, the provision of daycare centers and facilities (special passes, reduced hours) for parents, single-parent families, patients, and people with disabilities is maintained.”
